This year’s in-person World Congress will include the usual didactic components – Pre-Congress Courses (optional) on Wednesday, General Sessions on Thursday through Saturday, Live Patient Viewing, and other optional courses and events. The Gala will take place Saturday evening.
AHRS-India will be holding an ancillary Live Surgery Workshop on the Tuesday prior to the World Congress (October 31, 2023).
Target Audience
Who will benefit from attending?
• Experienced hair restoration surgeons
• Physicians with an interest in hair restoration surgery who are new to the field
• Surgical assistants, technicians, and other office personnel employed by ISHRS Physician Members and Pending Members
CME
The meeting is not sanctioned for CME PRA Category 1 Credits. However, the meeting will comply as much as possible with the policies and best practices of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. All individuals in a position to control the content of the activity, including speakers and authors, moderators, and planning committee members, will properly disclosure relevant financial relationships with any commercial interests pertinent to their talk or the subject of the meeting.
A certificate of attendance suitable for framing will be provided to all delegates.
Official Language
The official language of the meeting is English. Simultaneous interpretation will not be provided.
Meeting Attire
The attire for the in-person educational sessions is business. This year’s gala will have a “Bollywood” theme and attendees are encouraged to wear Indian style formalwear (saree, lehenga choli, anarkali, jodhpuri, sherwani, bandhgala). If you prefer you may wear black tie, or as has been a tradition of the ISHRS, you may wear a costume reflective of your native country for the Gala.
WiFi
Guests of the Leela Ambience should use their guest room access in the meeting space. Those registered attendees who are not staying at the Leela may visit the ISHRS registration desk to receive a voucher for one complimentary connection for the 4 days of the meeting, Nov. 1-4.
Persons with Disabilities
The ISHRS fully complies with the legal requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the rules and regulations thereof. Cancellation/Refund Policy
In-person Meeting Registration:
All registration fees, less a $100.00 administration fee, will be refunded upon written notice of cancellation to the ISHRS office received on or before October 10, 2023.
There will be no refund of fees for cancellation or for lack of attendance without notification. It is your responsibility to ensure that your cancellation request has been received by the ISHRS headquarters office. All refund requests must be in writing. “No shows” who have not pre-paid will be invoiced for the total registration fee.
On-Demand Meeting Registration
All on-demand meeting registration fees, less a $100.00 administration fee, will be refunded upon written notice of cancellation to the ISHRS office received on or before October 10, 2023. No refunds will be given after this date.
